Junior Staff Accountant

Our client, a life science company, is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join their team! This role is slated to last 3-4 months and will be onsite in Wellesley, MA. The Junior Staff Accountant will provide support to the finance department and will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process expense reports for accuracy and compliance
• Compile monthly reports for management to track and trend travel spend
• Assist the AP department in processing invoices and setting up new vendors
• Track and organize customer tax exemption certificates
• Manage the collection process for customers with past due balances
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, and perform analysis as needed
• Manage the collection of all information needed to submit reports

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting preferred
• Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, finance or accounting preferred
• Microsoft office and QuickBooks experience
