The Novelis Warren team is seeking an IT Site Coordinator. The person in this role will report to the IT Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leadership, project management and ongoing support of existing specified business systems including troubleshooting, vendor liaison, user liaison and continuous improvement and will provide leadership, project management and ongoing support of development of new or replacement business systems, initiated both within the plant and from corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Participate or lead plant projects, as agreed with the IT Director
• Keep control - Ensure plant IT applications & infrastructure are running properly (security, SLA, performance) - Strengthen and secure as needed (maintain current versions, monitor)
• Coordinate with regional and global IT teams for incident resolution, change management, and new projects
• Ensure regional/global IT initiatives (like global SAP, global Datacenters, etc) are properly rolled-out in the plant
• Plant IT point of contact for IT budget, IT dashboard and other IT reporting

Qualifications

• BS degree in Information Technology or Engineering
• 5+ experience as engineer with IT accountabilities
• Experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferred
• Proficiency with Level 2 software, FIMS, Crystal Reports
• Excellent technical skills around business applications, software, database
• Proven skills surrounding infrastructure, servers, PC, local and wide area networks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to interact with business users and plant management at all levels
• Attention to details, focus on delivery end-to-end services to final users
• Ability to work in matrix structure and collaborate with regional teams
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage indirect resources
• Strong ability to analyze and solve problems collaborating with regional team

Location Profile

Novelis' Warren facility is located in northeast Ohio- approximately an hour drive from Cleveland and an hour and a half from Pittsburgh. The facility built in 1965 applies coating to rolled aluminum beverage can sheet. The sheet is used to make aluminum beverage can lids for global soft drink beer and sparkling water brands. Warren showcases several high-end cultural venues including the Warren Community Amphitheater and Packard Music Hall. The 75+ employee Warren team is active in the community promoting recycling supporting STEM education and offering a helping hand to local community shelters.
