Job Description

IT Network Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design, build, deploy, modify, and maintainIT infrastructure
  • Provides daily deployment, configuration, administration, maintenance, technical solutions and 24x7x365 support to technology components that make up the IT Infrastructure environment
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for internal/external customers, project sponsors, contracted vendors and/or consultants.
  • Prepares and presents reports defining service metrics and project progress.
  • Provides (scheduled) onsite support at various operation locations when needed.
  • Serves as a technical resource forIT Service Desk and Proposes process improvement where needed for IT Service Desk and Operations.
  • Reports weekly on progress to theIT infrastructure Operations Managerof the region and escalates if required.
  • Set up routing plan and manage user accounts in CUCM.
  • Provide Cisco Voice installation, implementation and support service
  • Implementation and support of Cisco voice technologies, including Communications Manager, Unity Connections, UCCX, WebEx, WebEx Calling, and WebEx Contact Center
  • Manage and monitor all voice projects throughout Central America and North America (ITR03)
  • Assist in daily monitoring and troubleshooting network problems with protocols MPLS, EIGRP.
  • Provide the hardware / software configurations for Cisco voice gateways, Cisco IP phones, and analog voice gateway.
  • Adds, Moves, Changes on CUCM
  • Administer all Cisco UC and UCCE operational bug updates and upgrades.
  • Program ISDN trunking and circuits within PBX in support of VTC capabilities both secure and non-secure.
  • Experience with and the ability to implement, configure, and troubleshoot MPLS technologies including MPLS VPN's
  • Provide implementation guidance for multiple centralize Cisco platforms including configuration of trunks, gateways, QoS, and dial plans
  • You have knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Call control protocols, and Voice Gateways.
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience implementing InformaCast IP Paging solutions
  • ISP management, circuit disconnects and circuit turn-ups.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science inComputer Science,Information Technology, or otherrelateddegreeconcentration, orequivalentdirectly-relatedexperience(two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major).
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining networks utilizing Cisco technologies.
  • Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs.)
  • ITIL v3understanding.
