Job Summary

This role serves as the IT Manager for the Data Analytics domain area, serves as the team manager and lead for medium to large complex activities and who understands company goals and objectives. Enables collaboration with cross-functional teams. Translates strategies into roadmaps and requirements ensuring resolution with the utmost effectiveness and efficiency. Responsible for the research and development of business cases, designs, configurations, implementation plans and overall management of project related activities. Strong communication and analytical skills are required as part of this agile team. Provides support to team members and evaluations. Generate key performance indicators for their team to work towards to and help grow the domain within the DCP Midstream business landscape. Ability to listen and learn to help the team grow and achieved company goals/objectives. Ability to give honest evaluations of teams work habits and options to help challenge their team to be productive in a high demanding environment. Work in a collaborative way with Business and IT resources to research, troubleshoot, resolve and implement Data Analytic tools to our business.

What you will be responsible for

  • Leads and can drive medium size teams and medium to large projects. Ability to work with on shore and off shore team/consultants to help support domain.
  • Manage multiple projects and project/team financials/budgets.
  • Manage and lead a team consisting of different skill levels and skillsets.
  • Manage vendor contracts and financials associated with projects, support and software.
  • Have a minimalist mindset to reduce IT footprint while also providing high business value.
  • Ability to influence and drive a high caliber team to more productive and challenge the mainstream thinkers to be more creative
  • Be a Solution Architect, PM and SME to design and architect solutions, build test cases and script development and ensures projects meet business and IT objectives. Not only manage the team but be the individual that leads and works within the team to achieve the goals.
  • Perform as the Data Analytics expert for all business needs.
  • Work autonomously with IT and Business groups to understand issues and come up with solutions to complex business challenges
  • Develop road map and technical platform lifecycles that support business challenges and future needs.
  • Stay abreast of innovative technologies and provide periodic assessments of new opportunities and challenges
  • Define enterprise and solution architecture standards, patterns and practices
  • Develop and implement governance and support structures in support of production technology solutions
  • Identify business requirements and map them to the Microsoft Stack and Cloud Environments whether being the Talend, SnowFlake, Alteryx, MS Power Platform, MS SQL, Oracle Databases or any other toolset.
  • Identify functionality gaps and develop solutions for them
  • Research and resolve questions, issues, and service opportunities. Provide recommendations, alternatives, and guidance to the business.
  • Advise on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
  • Configure and prototype application tools within the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure Cloud to meet requirements and document application set-ups
  • Provides strong technical and functional business support
  • Work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application technology to the current and future business environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 10 years related experience is required; oil and gas industry experience a plus
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, Scrum lead with certifications is a plus
  • Experience developing and delivering enterprise technical solutions
  • Experience in developing a Master Data Management (MDM) architecture and roadmap
  • Experience mentoring and leading data scientists.
  • Experience in researching, designing, and developing production data science applications using python
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must have experience with multiple development stacks including with SnowFlake, Talend, Alteryx, Microsoft Development Stack, Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases, AI/ML Tools, MDM, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Project Server, Financial Project Management and ability to learn quickly.
  • Must have a functional or technical IT background with strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills articulating in clear concise messages
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills. Understands importance and frequency of status updates or documentation capture and can present information or ideas openly
  • Ability to work independently in a highly complex and challenging environment
  • Experience with Anaplan financial application is a plus
  • Ability to translate between functional requirements and technical designs
  • Ability to work on all project phases: project preview, fit/gap analysis, configuration, design, testing and deployment
Special Demands

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.Occasional travelmay berequired.

Salary Range

The salary range for this job is \$106,900 - \$176,400
