RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Insurance Posting Clerk in Creve Coeur, MO (3 days remote, 2 in office). The duration of this role is 3+ months, temp-to-perm.Key Tasks:- Insurance Posting Clerk will scan documents into a software system for the Posting and Insurance teams which makes up fifty percent of the workday
- Required to utilize Microsoft Excel to perform various data entry duties
- Insurance Posting Clerk may perform data entry into the electronic practice management system
- May post patient and/or insurance payment batches into the software system
- May audit payment batches for accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
- Billing and Coding certificate preferred or relative experience of three plus years in the healthcare industry
- Experience in with electronic practice management software - NextGen experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Problem solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
- Ability to function in team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
