Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Department of Occupational Safety and Health invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Instructor beginning August 2024.

Responsibilities include full-time teaching and advisement of students in the occupational safety and health program. Related duties may include but are not limited to recruitment of students, university service, scholarship/research, curriculum development and interaction with local industry.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Master of Science Degree from an ABET accredited occupational safety and health program.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

Candidate must be qualified to teach undergraduate level coursework in and related to occupational safety and health and have significant industrial training experience. Experience with safety and health program development is beneficial. Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential to the successful candidate.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Candidates with real-world experience in occupational safety and health will be preferred.
