This is a full-time (40 hours/week) paid hybrid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 4, 2023.

Job Summary and Scope:

As an Infrastructure Automation (Service Now) Intern, you'll provide support

  • End-to-end infrastructure build and configuration of a variety of application software products, database systems and in a heterogenous Linux and Windows environment, ranging from non-production to production (Cloud and OnPrem).

  • Developing automation, building and deploying new or enhancing existing infrastructure environments

  • Responsible for developing monitoring, change control and validation capabilities.

  • Improvement through process automation

  • Learning ServiceNow workflow and system automations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within an Agile Application Development team on our Private Cloud Infrastructure developing self-service infrastructure provisioning services using our VMWare, Automation/Orchestration, and Azure cloud.

  • Take on a variety of stories to create cloud platform services and frameworks to build our Public and Private Cloud platform

  • Put forth an understanding of assessments, implementations, optimizations, and documentations of a broad set of security technologies and processes such as data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, systems security, network security within IaaS, PaaS environments and CI/CD pipeline tooling for deployments

Qualifications/Knowledge & Experience:

  • A rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, information security, computer engineering or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Designing and developing applications with hands-on experience designing/implementing solutions within a DevOps environment

  • Knowledge in designing, building and securing Self-Service and Private Cloud Automation services

  • Prior experience in development using Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, or Java (scripting languages of PowerShell and Bash)

  • Understanding coding with Ansible and/or Terraform automation scripting languages and comfortable with code management tools
