Responsibilities

MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Director to lead our organization's applications deployment/support and business systems teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of IT applications, systems and processes, and a proven track record in managing complex IT environments that includes both cloud and on-premises environments. • Manage and lead an IT applications support and business systems team ensuring the overall availability and enablement of systems in support of our business and customers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, that include Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, and Service Management
• Ensure applications align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Enforce support processes for existing applications.
• Partner with the IT Service Management leader to facilitate troubleshooting efforts and resolution of issues.
• Ensure timely response to user inquiries.
• Collaborate with clients and MV leadership to execute technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Understand and participate in maintaining the organization's budget, but with a focus on identifying return on investment opportunities.
• Drive and own actions and demonstrate accountability for successes and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or requisite experience.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within IT operations.
• Strong technical background with expertise in systems and network administration.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of ITIL and other relevant frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape.
