In a Nutshell:

Assisting with Prior Authorization forms, gathering info from system, downloading from the web all info needed to get authorization.

Job Summary:

Investigates eligibility denials, provider suspends, selects ADA procedure codes, data enters and resolves suspends for dental claims via PC. Makes corrections to patient's claim history.

Functions:

• Investigates eligibility denials and provider suspends by using system resources and/or phone contact with external means. May either process claim to completion after sufficient information is obtained or open claim for mass adjudication.
• Processes claims submitted for payment. Either manually enters claim information via PC or reviews previously entered data for accuracy and completeness.
