About the Position
Pond, an award winning Architectural/Engineering firm, is currently seeking two (2) interns to work in our Human Resources department. This position is ideal for a current student looking to gain valuable real-world experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. Not only is this a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, the position provides competitive pay and the ability to earn course credit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn all facets of the HR work cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Support the creation of documents and materials (e.g. reports, presentations and job aids).
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of processes within the department and throughout the organization.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Assist with maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) database.
- Update and maintain employee manual and other HR forms as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various HR initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing HR metrics and preparing reports for management.
- Provide tactical department support toward the achievement of organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university studying business, human resources, psychology, marketing or a related field.
- Self-motivated with ability to excel within a growth-minded organization
- Prior Intern/Co-Op experience is also preferred
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- The ability to work as part of a team

Additional Information Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Human Resources Intern with a salary range of $16.70 - $22.20 .
