The Human Resources Generalist is a role energized by partnering with internal business functions to implement strategies to support people and business goals in a values-driven, people-centered, global organization. The HRG is motivated by learning and leading change and impacting all aspects of the employee experience (recruiting/onboarding, talent & organization development, total rewards, employee relations).

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for production, indirect, and salaried positions
  • Identify and utilize various recruitment channels to source a diverse pool of candidates
  • Manage post-offer activities, coordinate new hire onboarding with stakeholders, conduct new hire orientations, and process new hire paperwork
  • Provide ongoing support to managers for interviewing and selection techniques
Site HR Support
  • Respond and provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Monitor and manage employee attendance records, including correction action processes
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll within HRIS software, including the tracking and management of employee reimbursements
  • Provide coaching discussions with site management to resolve employee relation concerns and performance management discussions
  • Perform intake of employee relations investigations/complains, participate in investigations, and collaborate with Senior HR Manager and site operations leadership for resolution
  • Maintain and update employee records, including status updates, pay changes, and timecard corrections
  • Distribute HR communications, ensuring effective communication between HR and other departments
  • Assist with coordinator of employee engagement events
  • Facilitate and lead the annual hourly performance assessment and merit process
  • Coordinator the leave of absence and disability management process for the site

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Solid computer skills, including HRIS system, ADP preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration, federal and state laws
