The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a consultant for company management on all issues related to human resources. This individual will be a proactive communicator, change agent, and is someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the business to deliver value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's functions, and their individual strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure consistent HR policies, practices, procedures, and strategies are being executed.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR leadership team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Providing input in design and development of company-wide HR initiatives and programs to ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Advising management with respect to employee relations and performance management issues, with an emphasis on early identification and resolution
  • Partnering with specialized HR teams and business leaders to ensure specific needs of the divisions are being met.
  • Analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives
  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • All other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including but not limited to compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, manager, or HR Business Partner capacity
  • Strong communication skills: Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to present information and influence decisions; comfort working with people at all levels within the organization
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment; flexible in response to changing employee needs; maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
  • Organizational Skills: Extremely organized; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; meticulous attention to detail
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree required
  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus but not required.
