• What you'll do:
• Provide generalist support to the Human Resources functions, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training and employee records
• Process applications, including employment and enrollment applications, maintains attendance and employment records.
• Conducts pre-employment screening interviews, process background checks and responds to routine questions on HR policy

• You'll need to have:
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including: ADA, ADEA, FMLA, OSHA, worker's compensation, wage and hour law, hiring practice and EEO compliance
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations
• Above average computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Workday
• Experience in a union facility preferred
