Position Overview

The global HRIS Lead be responsible for global data integrations, reporting systems and HR dashboards .The lead is responsible for overall project management activities for the projects he/she owns, while working with different resources in and outside of Novelis. The lead will partner with HR business process owners (Talent, Compensation, Payroll and HR Business Partners) to develop solutions leveraging Novelis technology landscape in various functional areas and systems. Where relevant, the HRIS Lead will serve as a change agent through effective collaboration with different stakeholders to plan, organize, and implement new data integrations, reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, communication and organizational skills. Specifically, this person will be responsible for:

  • Data integrations
  • Reporting tools (OBIEE, Power BI)
  • Dashboard and HR Analytics HR Analytics
  • Other data related projects
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Role Responsibilities:
  • Data Integrations:
    • Gather requirements, design and implement data integrations between multiple HR applications
    • Maintain and modify existing integrations as needed
    • Plan and secure resources (People | Processes | Technology) for effective implementation
    • Collaborate with business/process owners and external vendors to ensure proper change management
    • Ensure all integration design, and testing are properly documented.
  • Dashboards:
    • Gather requirements from process/data owners and defined those as KPIs to be developed
    • Develop deep knowledge of current dashboards to support efficient dashboards design
    • Maintain and modify existing dashboards as needed including access management Support existing dashboards and implement changes
    • Design and implement solutions that will allow the larger use of self-service options that will empower manager and employees and alleviate the tactical work used by our HR business partners
  • HR Analytics:
    • Identify, research, and analyze trends and data patterns to inform business decisions regarding strategic workforce planning and organizational effectiveness
    • Use data and analytics to identify areas of the business with critical gaps or potential workforce risks (i.e. critical retirees, technical knowledge gaps, underdeveloped talent pipelines and succession plans, etc.)
    • Apply predictive analytics to strategize how to effectively attract, retain, and grow talent within Novelis
  • HR Reporting:
    • Complete the implementation and manage the existing reporting system (OBIEE) - New reports requirements, additions to existing reports increase user capabilities and system usage
    • Identify reporting gaps and solution for it
    • Provide reports as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related subject
  • 6+ years of experience in HRIS or similar role in IT
  • Experience with data integrations
  • Experience with HR analytics
  • Experience working with vendors providing cloud based and on premise HR solutions.
  • Ability to capture and enhance stakeholder's needs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical users
  • Working knowledge of HR data and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems
  • Ability to suggest methods for improvement and increasing efficiency of data processes and technologies
  • Strong attention to details
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with reporting tools (Specifically OBIEE), Power BI, workflow tools
  • Experience working with vendors in implementing projects and solutions
  • Experience working with different development methodologies such as Agile, or SAFE
