JOB OVERVIEW:

The HRIS Analyst supports the HRIS team to resolve Workday system issues, implement new functionality, ensure data integrity, test system changes, create reports, and analyze workflows to help suggest process improvement opportunities. This position will also be involved in supporting HRIS upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the HRIS team by providing data, administrative support, and standard HRIS reports.
  • Provide production support, including research and resolution of Workday problems, collaborating with functional and technical staff to coordinate fixes in a timely manner.
  • Assess current system functionality and usefulness, identifying improvements or changes to create an exceptional user experience.
  • Generate reports, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports. Assist in development of custom reports for customer and departmental needs. Assist in development of dashboards and various methods of distributing data to the organization.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to employee requests and questions.
  • Be a point of contact for day-to-day HRIS questions.
  • Assist in performing system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades and new releases.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by analyzing data.
  • Maintain general awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.

JOB EXPERIENCE:

1+ years of similar experience with HR Information or Management Systems required, previous experience with Workday preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Working knowledge of HRIS software, Workday preferred.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Working understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Customer service mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
