Description: Our client is currently seeking a HR Specialist
Job Description:As a member of the Human Resources team, the HR Specialist will be responsible for interviewing and training employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, assisting in policy and procedure development; and processing, verifying, and maintaining, and developing documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to:
• Oversee day to day HR function for team members
• Records data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, logistics, absences, counseling issues, and dates of and reasons for terminations
• Performs administrative functions such as printing out pay stubs, resetting passwords, checking discrepancies with time, handling filing status changes) using Kronos and People Soft databases, and QQuest
• Coaches employees on issues pertaining to conflict resolution and employee performance
Your Qualifications: • BACHELOR DEGREE HUMAN RESOURCES
• 3 years prior human resources experience
• Ability to multi-task in dynamic environment
Bonus If You Have: • Experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft, Kronos, and SuccessFactors systems
