Position Summary:

Provides assistance and accountability in overall record management, maintenance and file retrieval to ensure appropriate compliance and retention time frames for all Human Resources personnel files. Maintains a neat and orderly file record area to process various related documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Position requires highly confidential, detailed processes, excellent organizational and customer service skills. Must demonstrate compliance with Corporate confidentially and recordkeeping compliance. Provides clerical support for the Human Resources department. Mix of job responsibilities will vary depending on departmental functions. Provides information and reports as requested to Human Resource Managers. Other duties as required.

Position Qualifications:

PREFERRED:

  • Certified Records Management Professional.
  • Certification of completion for secretarial/clerical training.
REQUIRED:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year secretarial/clerical experience in a fast-paced working environment, preferably with experience in record management and file retrieval within the Human Resources field. Must have experience working with confidential, detailed processes, excellent organizational and customer service skills. Experience with receiving large volume of paperwork, phone calls and customer services inquiries preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with various software and database systems, calculator, multi-line phone, fax/copy/scan machine. Computer skills with ability to type 40 wpm; operate 10-key calculator and other standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to complete a variety of tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet reporting and completion deadlines with attention to detail. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. Must have excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to Corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. Ability to make decisions in a timely manner on limited but adequate information.
  • Required to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
