JOB SUMMARY

Provide administrative support for the human resources department as needed, including the areas of compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, HRIS entry, and training. Maintain employee files and personnel records, process change-of-status forms, compile personnel statistics and provide information to employees on matters pertaining to personnel forms and records.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all TSI employees.
  • Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports as needed. Process new hire records, promotions, termination, reorganizations and any employee change in status. Maintain and coordinate all status change forms, ensuring that appropriate approval and documentation is attached to support the change in status.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests, and route as appropriate.
  • Maintain TSI's organizational charts (both U.S. and International) with talent management system, employee personnel files (paper and electronic), immigration files and the HR Information/Forms Center on SharePoint.
  • Participate in, schedule and arrange logistics for Human Resources staff meetings and other meetings.
  • Coordinates and distributes Human Resources Communications.
  • Provide support for New Hire Orientations.
  • Assist department with process improvements.
  • Maintain training records database. Produce training record reports as needed.
  • Submit invoices to Finance department for payment.
  • Order supplies for department.
  • Maintain I-9 files.
  • Monitors E-Verify through HireRight to assure compliance for all new hires within 3 days on their start date.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.


  • Benefits/Safety:
  • Prepare benefit packets.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Processrequired documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accuraterecord-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Process computer purchase program loans, tuition reimbursements, and student scholarshiprequests for approval.
  • Monitor and ensure all employees have completed the Safety Training Checklist.
  • Reconciles benefit statements.
  • Assist in coordination of First Responder team training.


  • Recruiting:
  • Maintain temporary employee information.
  • Provide coordination support to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Ensure new hires return all required paperwork.
  • Administer security badge program, including photos for employee badges.


  • Employee Relations:
  • Schedule exit interview and notify appropriate employees of the separation.
  • Administer employee locker assignments.
  • Handle the administrative process for the Employee Recognition Program and Employee Referral program and other employee bonus award programs.


  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required.

    Experience
    • Has entry-level knowledge of federal, state and local laws.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Prefer HR Internship experience, but not required.

    KNOWLEDGE

    This position requires knowledge of human resources principles and practices, experience with an HRIS database (preferably with ADP and SuccessFactors), and effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
