We are seeking a HPLC Analyst to join our Baltimore, MD Pharmacy team!

As a HPLC Analyst, you will be responsible for the routine operation of a new HPLC laboratory to support pharmacy and radiopharmacy analysis. Reports to Director of Radiopharmacy with a strong connection to a research pharmacy group.

• Provides HPLC support for Research Pharmacy and radiopharmacy
• Transfers, validates, and develops analytical methods for support of compounding in Pharmacy
• Applies HPLC-UV and HPLC-RAD analysis for radiolabeled and unlabeled analytes (radioisotope training to be provided)
• Collaborates with overall Pharmacy Team to establish criteria and specifications for clients and research projects
• Provides assistance to Radiation Safety and Radiochemistry efforts
• Assists the Director of radiopharmaceutics with tracking of client and revenue deliverables and assist with monthly updates to Finance and Site Managers
• Assists, tracks, and monitors of scientific improvement and monitoring data
• Collaborates with Pharmacy and Radiation Safety staff meetings and development of protocol
• Contributes technical expertise and judgment towards improvement of all analytical procedures, including new work
• Identifies and reports quality problems to the supervisor or QA department

Job Qualifications:

• A STEM degree with HPLC knowledge and experience
• Experience in HPLC-UV analysis, standard preparation and chromatography
• Competence in HPLC automation, software, and documentation
• 5 years experience in pharmaceutical experience may substitute for Bachelors of Science
