Job Description:


Dutchess Community College seeks a talented Head Women's Soccer Coach to join the growing athletic department for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Head Coach is responsible for the organization, administration and coaching of the Women's Soccer program, including supervising staff and student-athletes.


Duties:


  • Execute a clearly defined philsophy of coaching and teaching Soccer.
  • Recruit sufficiently qualified student athletes.
  • Effectively execute fundraising activities, including camps and clinics to help meet team financial goals.
  • Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and provide support.
  • Scout and prepare team for competition.
  • Comply with College, NJCAA, Region 15, and Mid-Hudson Conference rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate Soccer program.



Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree and at least two years of soccer coaching experience at the high school level.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree and at least two years of soccer coaching experience at the collegiate level.



Additional Information:


The performance of this work is primarily in-person and on-site. Flexible hours required; some travel is necessary.


Athletic positions are covered by an agreement with Dutchess Community College and the Association.
