General Summary:
This position greets, welcomes, and assists patients and visitors, creating a friendly and positive first impression of the Hospital. The Guest Services Representative verifies that employees enter the building with their employee identification displayed, issues a date-stamped badge to all patients and visitors and maintains the visitor logbook, when necessary. Responds to telephone inquiries and provides information, directions, and assistance while protecting patient confidentiality. Provides information to visitors regarding meeting and seminar locations. Supports the patient registration process by maintaining a log of all patients and visitors as well as directing patients to the appropriate areas for registration processing. Provides wayfinding and escorting to patients and visitors as well as transports patients by wheelchair to their destination when necessary and appropriate. Consistently demonstrates customer service excellence as outlined in the Holy Cross Hospital "First Impressions" pocket guide and telephone etiquette standards.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Must be able to work day shifts and rotating weekends
