Wood is currently recruiting for an Graduate Instrumention Engineering for our Houston, TX office
U.S. Only: Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required
A new graduate will play a secondary role in instrument and control engineering deliverable production while supporting the instrument engineering lead in meeting project objectives.
This would be done by participating in the production of an Instrument Index, instrument selection and sizing calculations, instrument datasheets, requisitions and bid tabulations while providing process control and safety system input to P&ID's.
- An instrument engineer will provide input into the process control and safety systems while reviewing P&ID's.
- This will lead to specifying and procuring the correct type of instrumentation that is required for the specific service.
- We maintain the project Instrument Index which dictates the size and functionality of the facilities process control and safety systems.
Skills / Qualifications
Preferred degree in the following fields of study:
- Chemical or Electrical Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
