Integration of legal obligations and continually adapting compliance programs across many risk areas such as Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, Identity Verification, and Due Diligence for Facebook, Instagram, Reality Labs, and WhatsApp, requires a Compliance Manager who is dynamic and able to unify teams and help them execute quickly. If you like enabling companies to protecting people, data, and finding bad guys, Compliance is for you.Our Emerging Products team is seeking a Global Product Compliance Manager. The team is responsible for working with a wide range of cross-functional subject matter experts at the company in helping to define and execute a Risk and Compliance strategies at Facebook. We are deeply connected with Compliance Teams, Product Management and Engineering to ensure products and features are developed and launched safely and successfully. Your role will be to manage integrations that facilitate product vision and strategy by ensuring products are built to scale with Compliance in mind.
  • Collaborate and strategize with other leaders both inside and outside the Legal department
  • Collaborate with Compliance Operations teams in understanding the impact of compliance strategy on broader operations and support requirements that allow products to scale
  • Manage a portfolio of new product launches that require consultation, support, risk and operations assessment, prioritization across the portfolio, identify and communicate any dependencies, and highlight and help resolve blocking issues
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, help coordinate and develop compliance operations strategy for new types of products and design novel operations experiences that challenge conventional operational models for new products at scale
  • Effectively challenge assumptions and help integrate risk mitigation actions to ensure successful product development and launches
  • Manage complex projects and align compliance strategy across numerous operations stakeholders
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with key cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Product Management, Legal and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phase of product life cycle
  • Ensure the right level of tracking and transparency on milestones is maintained
  • Supervise active projects to ensure they are tracking to committed goals/milestones
  • Help oversee the broader product discovery process to proactively identify new products and engage and educate product managers about compliance operations
  • Ensure the right execution, communication and resources are in place to deliver on key milestones
  • BA/BS from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of work experience in business strategy, payments, risk, sanctions and OFAC or compliance with knowledge of the technology Product Development Lifecycle
  • 4+ years Project Management experience
  • Experience managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder processes, communicating and influencing stakeholders at various levels across functional boundaries
  • Experience with AML and BSA regulations
  • 3+ years experience as a member of a dispersed team
  • Experience developing new methodologies, thinking strategically and critically, and prioritizing and managing multiple priorities
  • CAMS, CFE, PMP certification
  • Experience with privacy and security issues related to payment products
  • Experience applying privacy risk and compliance requirements in a technical environment
  • Experience working in a FinTech environment
