Job Summary:

Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate (only junior or senior students if undergraduate) or graduate program with a concentration in:

  • biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, information technology/management, management information system, computer science/engineering, data science/engineering or a related field.

We are currently seeking a Global Development Information Management (GDIM) Intern for the Summer 2024. This full time position works for 37.5 hours per week. They will be responsible for the following activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in various operational activities around data maintenance in systems used for one or more R&D processes.
  • Document standard operating instruction, work instruction, etc. in data entry and maintenance processes where there is a current gap.
  • Analyze information/data stored in various systems, repositories and documenting redundancies and come up with one or more proposed solution to move to a more consistent and unified state.
  • Use various data analysis and data mining techniques to draw key insights.
  • Review source documents and crosschecking data across various systems.
  • Conduct process and data analysis to support key solutions in different areas.
  • Explore tools for use cases such as business process modeling, workflows, generating training documents/presentations, etc.
  • Manage/triage/troubleshoot support tickets (as applicable) in one or more systems area.
  • Create presentation templates for various types of meetings/distributions, org charts.
  • Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a specific area within the organization. For example, manage the important stakeholders' calendars to arrange schedules, and support coordinating meetings. Ensure the people can be well-prepared for all engagements.
  • Work with internal and key stakeholders to accomplish operational and tactical goals and objectives, as relevant for the role.

Education/Experience:

Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate (only junior or senior students if undergraduate) or graduate program with a concentration in biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, information technology/management, management information system, computer science/engineering, data science/engineering or a related field.

Prior experience in a corporate business environment is preferred;

experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
