We have a great opportunity for a Global Collections Manager to join our Finance & Accounting Department. This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely collections of the Company's Accounts Receivable.

  • The Collections Manager and is responsible for accurate and timely collection of receivables for all subsidiaries.
  • Establish, train, maintain and direct the work of an effective collections team.
  • Manage collections personnel and maintain employee morale.
  • Foster cooperative working relationships with customers, coworkers, and senior management.
  • Implement effective collections processes including utilization of automated processes available in SaaS Optics platform and Sage Intacct.
  • Develop, measure and report performance measures (KPIs) for credit, collections, and AR
  • Resolve customer discrepancies and short payments in a timely manner that maintains customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, customer calls, account adjustments, write offs, customer reconciliations and credit memos.
  • Communicate & follow up effectively and timely with sales department regarding customer accounts.
  • Meet defined department goals, activity and KPI metrics.
  • Assist Billing, Sales and Accounting departments to resolve billing related issues.
  • Minimize bad debt exposure.
  • Develop and improve collection process and procedures, make recommendations and implement for efficiencies
  • Develop with Finance leadership team reliable metrics and reporting
  • Performs other assigned tasks and duties in support of the Finance & Accounting department

Job Requirements & Skills
  • 5+ years progressive experience with collection team management
  • 4+ years accounting experience
  • Collection system and automation experience a HUGE ++
  • Experience with multiple entity and international corporate structure
  • Must be able to consistently meet or beat deadlines
  • Strong experience in O365 applications, multiple ERP's
  • Team player and proven ability to work cross functionally
  • High attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude and demeanor working with the internal team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Education:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business related field
