The position

Vertiv is hiring a Global Channel Program Manager in Westerville, OH (or remote in the US). This person will own the design of our partner program and drive its adoption across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. You will apply advanced subject matter knowledge and expertise to solve complex business problems and to be regarded as a subject matter expert in all Channel program-related topics.

You will have extensive knowledge about competitors' moves and intimate understanding of Vertiv's strategic imperatives in order to effectively structure, design and deliver program changes and improvements. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Learning and IT teams to coordinate multiple aspects of the program and drive its success.

You will work closely with functional and regional executives to lead and support projects from problem-solving to execution. This is a hands-on role, where a high level of energy and entrepreneurship is a must have.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop partner program strategies, develop project roadmaps and manage progress.
  • Design partner program structure with multiple partner journeys, specifying their requirements and benefits
  • Align with regions parameters to be defined globally v locally
  • Develop compelling analyses (benchmarks, internal comparisons) to challenge current practices and influence and get buy-in from stakeholders
  • Collect requirements from different teams with stake at the partner program (Sales, Marketing, Product teams)
  • Define requirements to different teams delivering components of the partner program (Marketing, IT, Learning)
  • Evangelize the organization's (top managed to partner-facing teams) about partner program, train the trainers
  • Push regions to implement program and drive adaption
  • Monitor and analyze program results, extract insights and learnings
Experience required:
  • BA or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering
  • 5-7 years' experience in Channel program management in IT or Telco industry
  • Deep understanding of market, industry and partner dynamics
  • Sound mix of strong conceptual, analytical and creative capabilities
  • Affinity for data-driven and goal-oriented decision-marking
  • Great project management with the ability to balance attention to details with swift execution
  • Superb communication skills with the ability to deliver complex messages to different audiences
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with experience in multi-cultural environments
  • Proactive, high-energy style with solid work ethic
  • Self-driven, independent worker
  • Professional proficiency in English is required
