Job Details:

The team member is responsible for the maintenance of all equipment associated with but not limited to the production floors, rendering, yards, wastewater, MQ Chill, and any other equipment assigned. This includes but not limited to doing PM's, making adjustments, and repairs to equipment, troubleshooting electrical problems and being able to do all types of wiring, all types of welding and using an acetylene torch, must be able to fabricate, use hand and power tools, clean drains, climb ladders, and work off various heights and surfaces. Must be able to read and understand manuals, execute and document work completed on scheduling sheet. Must be willing to obtain Forklift, Lockout/Tagout, and Confined Space Certification and work in confined spaces. Must be willing to train and receive Hazmat Response Certification. Hazmat Response requires the use of full-face respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus with level A suit. Must be willing to work with and around and with chemicals. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends: Shifts are rotating 12-hour shifts. The temperature of the work area could be below 0° or as high as 100° depending on the area in which the job is performed. Must be willing to occasionally lift equipment of up to 100 pounds with assistance. There may be minimal to heavy force of various push/pulls involved with maintenance jobs. This Team Member needs to be able to follow all safety rules, which include but not limited to following Tyson core safety mandates and wear personal protective equipment correctly. Daily work will be determined and assigned by supervisor.
