Objectives of this Role:

• Loads and unloads packages from vehicle.
• Makes on-campus deliveries to buildings and from division stockrooms.
• Check condition of containers and contents prior to acceptance of shipments.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Will make daily deliveries of packages/boxes throughout the campus.
• Opens packages to obtain paperwork/packing list.
• Scans packages for inbound and outbound tracking.
• Must be attentive to names, numbers, and building locations.
• Will cross train to learn other job functions.
• Responsible for maintaining company vehicle and up keep of those records, keeps record files.
• Performs other duties as assigned, or required in order to meet department goals.
• Complies with all Safety Regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years: Receiving experience, have a good driving record
• Be attentive to detail; work accurately under pressure; effectively communicate with Institute staff, vendors, etc., on the telephone and in person; be able to lift and move, sort objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to work in outside/inside hot and cold temperatures. Be able to use a personal computer, Telephone, copier, fax.
• A valid/clear driver's license is required.
