Location: Beaumont, TX
Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
FSQA) Manager is responsible for overseeing the food safety and quality department, all HACCP plans, SQF program, records, and coordinates with the production supervision the implementation of these plans.

In this one-shift operation, you will be our key subject matter expert as it relates to scheduling orders, daily capacities, and worker requirements.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with all regulatory agencies including the USDA

• Responsible for all Quality Assurance programs and specification development

• Ensure product compliance with quality and food safety standards

• Accountability and responsibility for DJ's recall program

• Responsible for USDA regulation knowledge, labeling knowledge, net weight control programs, nutritional information, SOP, and GMP

• Regulatory guidance and interpretation

• Develop and conduct corporate food safety audits

• Institute quality audit program for suppliers, where applicable

• SQF Practitioner

Reports to:

- Vice President of Operations

Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to perform computations with reasonable speed and accuracy.

- Good judgement and sound decision making skills.

- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

- 4-year college degree, or equivalent, in experience

- 10+ years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility

- HACCP certification and SQF training

Job Type:

- Full-time in person in Beaumont, TX
