Description: Our client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst II
How you will make an impact: • Regular management reporting deliverables to Senior Executives and the Board of Directors • Development and execution of the 5-year annual strategic plan • Actuals vs. plan and prior year reporting and analysis of full financial statements and activity drivers, including variance and driver analysis • Facilitate quarterly forecasts of actuals and annual reforecast of the 5-year plan • Scenarios and sensitivities • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Key Risk Indicators (KRI's), and management dashboards • Develop ad-hoc financial models, analysis, and management reports, as requested by senior management • Leverage technology to help enhance and drive efficiencies • Develop and maintain strong relationships with divisional and subsidiary personnel What will make you stand out: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent • CPA/MBA preferred • 8+ years of related financial planning and analysis experience • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Essbase, Hyperion, Peoplesoft, or equivalent • Demonstrated ability to innovate and leverage technology for efficiencies and enhanced analytics, etc. • Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail • Ability to work independently on assignments of various levels of complexity • Ability to leverage and understand complex financial models • Proven organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to collaborate with others to effectively solve problems TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have Actuals vs. plan and prior year reporting and analysis of full financial statements and activity drivers, including variance and driver analysis Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Key Risk Indicators (KRI's), and management dashboards Development and execution of the 5-year annual strategic plan Nice To Have Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Essbase, Hyperion, Peoplesoft, or equivalent
