What You Will Be Doing -Become our Product Specialist consulting with customers face to face and remotely troubleshooting best in class automated equipment supporting laboratory automation.

-Up to 15% mid-Atlantic travel outside of Pearl River, NY

In this key role, our Field Service Engineer identifies, analyzes, and repairs field product failures.

Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and maintain large complex scare automated freezers.
-Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures. Will orders and replaces parts as needed.
-Research and answer customer questions about product features, issues, and upgrades.
-Performs start up testing and customer training on features and general maintenance of product.
-Performs customer user training.
-Contributes to the R&D aspects of projects by presenting the Service perspective.

-Provide on-site field service, repairs, and quality checks.
-Provide remote support via phone, e-mail, and computer.
-Clearly and accurately complete documentation on time.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TRAVEL is about 15% and territory is in Pearl River, NY area and travel only up to 15%.---------------------------------------------------------------------

-Research and be the go to person to answer customer questions about product features and appropriate upgrades.
-Perform customer training sessions on features and general maintenance of product
-Mentor less experienced engineers on our unique products.
What You Need for this Position -Best candidates have passion for and mechanical ability, hobbies that align with Mechanical abilities; motorcycle / car mechanic, drone building, construction, etc.
-Strong presentation, and customer facing skills. Enjoys serving as a subject matter expert on our interesting products along with training and mentoring others.

-Be self-motivated to assist customers, sales, and service team to overcome problems in a timely manner.
-Use your excellent communication skills, which are appropriate for a customer-facing role.

-At least 3+ years of related experience.
-Degree in Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent professional experience.
-Experience in automation and robotics or similar fields.
-Experience working with customers in the life science/clinical/pharmaceutical field preferred

-Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs.
-Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License. Must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check.

-Be capable of working under pressure without compromise.
