Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Assembles windows from aluminum extrusions using standard and non-standard drawings and hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, etc., as well as milling machines, CNC machines for preparations and configurations.
• Installs hardware according to bill of material using screw guns and /or drills
• Interprets standard and non-standard bills of material and drawings per job.
• Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection.
• Self-inspection of parts and windows to ensure product is in concordance with Quality standards
• Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations concerning construction of windows.
• Able to follow detailed instruction from Lead person/Supervisor and complete in a timely manner.
• Performs all general production work as required.
• May be required to work off shifts

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Job requires constant lifting in excess of 10-20 lbs
• Employee must be able to stand for a minimum ten(10) hour period of time
• Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Must have experience working with hand tools
• Ability to read and comprehend assembly drawings (preferred)
• Hand prep layout (preferred)
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
