Location: Chicago, IL
Description:
A prominent client of ours in Chicago, IL is seeking an extremely professional, reliable, and experienced Esthetician for their plastic surgery center.

Duties:

• Perform medical-grade treatments for various skin-related issues.
• Take pre & post-treatment patient photos and download them into the patient's chart
• Understands advanced skincare treatments and how to perform them safely.
• Proficient in administering chemical peels and microdermabrasion
• Advanced knowledge of lasers, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and plastic surgical procedures.
• Proficient in performing facial massages and extractions. Able to recommend and provide combination therapies to patients
• Maintain strict aseptic technique when performing procedures.
• Maintain sterilization of equipment.
• Assist with administrative and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Educate and offer beauty and skincare products to patients
• Maintain consistent contact with product representatives
• Provide excellent customer service to patients. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Close down rooms nightly ensuring that treatment rooms are adequately stocked for the following day. Rooms will also be set up for next-day treatments.
• Provide consistent and safe treatments

Skills:

• Certified Esthetician
• Technical savvy (i.e. basic computer skills, google, social media is a plus)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high profile environment
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing environment
• Discretion and professionalism is a key requirement of this position. Must be super professional and understanding their clientele is very high profile so confidentiality is very important.
• Knowledge of, and/or interest in aesthetic skincare. Ability to become proficient with all of the skincare products and treatments offered.
• Ability to interface with patients, staff, and other physicians in a professional manner.

Schedule:

• 2- 3 days a week either Tuesday & Thursday OR Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
• Hours could be 8 to 5, or 9 to 6, or 11 -7.
• Esthetician will see 6 to 8 clients per day depending on the treatment
