We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to plan and lead medium-sized company capital projects. In this assignment, you will be working closely with team members in a matrix environment to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, budgets, and schedules are on track. You will role model and champion Project Management Standards and Best Practices, providing training and coaching to uphold a high capability across the Elmore facility.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:
•Manage key capital projects and programs, from scoping to execution, defining and delivering key project metrics and success criteria
•Use Front-End Loading (FEL) and/or Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and the Stage-Gate Process for developing, leading and managing projects.
•Effectively manage equipment FATs, Installations, SATs, and startups, including project closeout and post mortem analysis with proper handoff and signoffs
•Lead internal and external teams, coordinating with and influences cross-functional teams with competing goals to gain alignment to the overall project plan and initiatives
•Collaborate with Procurement on vendor selection, pre-qualifications and bid packages and overall vendor-client relationship for successful project execution

REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor degree in Engineering
•Minimum of 10 years' experience of engineering in manufacturing plant environment supporting and managing medium to large capital projects up to $25M.
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management with track record of executing projects successfully, from concept to completion. PMP Certification is preferred
•Experience managing projects in a metals industry and working with third party Engineering Services and Contract Consultants is preferred
•Working knowledge of SAP, SharePoint and Project Management Software is preferred

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
