Adecco Staffing is currently recruiting candidates for a contract to hire software or electrical design engineering job in Fort Collins, CO for our distribution client. This is a great temp to hire opportunity for highly technical engineering position with a stable and internationally recognized company. Pay for this position starts at $33.00/hr. If you have an engineering degree, enjoy designing and problem solving, and are knowledgeable about software, this may be the perfect job for you.

Duties for the Software Engineer job in Fort Collins, CO are:

  • Develop embedded SW on a variety of microprocessor and/or single-board computers and provide value added engineering expertise
  • Develop product code, both individually and/or as part of a small, integrated (HW/FW/SW) team. Develop code from product specification to first-function status and then through debugging and product readiness
  • Work as part of a cross-functional engineering team to create product development specifications
  • Architect SW solutions for new product specifications
  • Collaborate with multiple external partners
  • Work individually and as part of a team
  • Past projects have included, and may include as part of the job: programming embedded microprocessors, GUI development, App development for iOS and/or Android, Web-based User Interface development, API development, cloud database development, database programming (PHP, MySQL, PostGreSQL, etc), embedded driver development, etc.
  • Engage customers with confidence, friendliness, and a collaborative attitude as a regular part of the job
    • Qualifications
  • BS in EE, EE-CS or CS plus years of experience
  • Proficiency in software programming methodologies and best practices
  • Proficient in C. Proficiency and/or experience working in Python, Objective-C, Swift, SQL, Java or iOS is desirable.
