Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintenance of the microprocessor-based energy management systems on campus. Preventive and corrective maintenance of the campus' microprocessor based energy management system to include inspection, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and any other actions necessary to insure an operable system. Is responsible for engineering and applying new methods, programs, and technology that will enhance systems operations. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Two year electronic degree required. Five years of additional work experience in the operation and repair of industrial heating, ventilating and cooling machinery may be exchanged for the degree requirement.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Five years working in the field of electronics or computer repair. Prefer the experience to be in maintenance and or installation of a microprocessor based energy management system, including direct digital control systems and the related software.
• Troubleshooting basic A.C., or D.C., integrated circuitry, computer logic gates, counters, convertors, and understand interfacing with industrial control circuitry.
• Memory for written and verbal directions, abstract ideas, ability to plan and make decisions, alertness, analytical ability, and initiative.
• Must have good communication and coordination skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements to operate a University vehicle.
