BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer 5 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA/Remote!

Position Title: Electrical Engineer 5

Location: Redmond, WA/Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 03 Months

Job Type: [FULL TIME [CONTRACT], [Remote]
Pay Range:[$60] - [$70]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years experience with FPGA that have gone into shipping progress - Lattice Preferred

2. Minimum 5 years experience with video processing

3. Minimum 5 years of MIPI, I2C, Ethernet

FPGA:

Environment:

• Lattice FPGAs for video processing.
• Leverage existing IP Blocks.

Tasks:

• Assist with MIPI IP Block integration on a 3-member team (smaller task).
• Drive a full design that captures multiple MIPI camera streams and outputs a GigE Camera Protocol. The other team members will assist you. (this is a large effort).

Candidate Requirements:

• Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience, Lattice FPGA experience and video processing.
• Degrees or certifications required: BS in Electrical Engineering, preferred masters.

Desired Skills:

• FPGA - Lattice Preferred
• MIPI, I2C, Ethernet
• GigE Protocols (ethernet programming familiarity)

Environment:

• PC based software
• Leverage SDKs

Tasks:

• Command/control video over GigE Camera Protocol (8 cameras; qty 2 ethernet cables transmitting 4 cameras per cable)
• Store captured image data and telemetry from the system.

Desired Skills:

• C/C#/C++
• SDK integration via SDK to GigE capture hardware
• GigE Protocols (ethernet programming familiarity)
