RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a high-tech company that has over 500+ groundbreaking projects, is looking for an Electrical Construction Project Manager to support the construction of their new ground up facilities in Sparks, NV. - Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution
- Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide
- As an Electrical Construction Project Manager, you will coach and mentor counterparts and subordinates on excellence in the construction industry
- Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary
- Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project goals
- Provide the best product for your respective project customer or end users, keeping projects moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise
- Estimating/managing; Handling everything other than medium/high voltage; 480 volt and below including lighting, distribution and controls
- 90% of the electrical scope
- Estimating work, estimating skidded systems, the actual installation for safe build, going to final terminations and working through commissioning when we get to the tool install
- Will have 2 superintendent and several foreman as support
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideally 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
- Experience handling multiple projects
- Experience handling 480 and below
- Experience with Commercial Manufacturing & light industrial project experience electrical
- Conduit experience, bust ducts, buzz way entering building, underground penetration and leading up to the way
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Construction Cost/Data Analysis
- Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your times through challenging projects
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
