Job Description

The GM EV Retail Manager will be responsible for working with the Divisional Field Teams to ensure a successful launch of the EV Retail Go To Market Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director - EV Dealer Innovation, the GM EV Specialist is responsible for;

  • Facilitating Field and Regional Office employee immersion into EV Future Retail Model
  • SME to educate Field Wholesale team and assist with dealer adoption of the Future Retail Model in the following areas:
  • Digital Retail Platform - sign up, on-boarding, support, measurement
  • EV Home charging installation program
  • EV CX Standards
  • EV Sales Programs (test drive/home delivery)
  • EV Ordering & Distribution model
  • EV Dealer Payment
  • Assist in EV product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between the dealer and GM
  • Center of Expertise for GM Dealership EV Specialists
  • EVX Standards Consultant
  • Sharing Best Practices
  • Monitor EV Specialist training to maintain 100% compliance in GM training objectives
  • Drive Introduction to Service process and value to dealer
  • Participate in periodic market and dealership visits with divisional Field Teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales & service experience (multi-discipline, field, corporate)
  • Experience handling cross channel programs and collaborating with automotive dealers
  • Customer Experience focused initiatives
  • Reporting, data and analytics

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable of / experience working in the EV ecosystem
  • Project management experience preferred
