The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Clinician who will lead the design, strategy and implementation of AVANGRIDs Occupational Health Clinic(s). The role may involve providing direct and indirect care for AVANGRID employees with an emphasis in Occupational Health. The Clinician will utilize established protocols and current standards of care to meet the wide variety of health care needs of the AVANGRID employee population. This position will play a key role in the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Well-being programs for AVANGRID.

  • Develop, design and implementation of Occupational Health Clinic(s).
  • Manage day-to-day operation and promotes utilization of Occupational Health Clinic(s).
  • Direct development and delivery of innovate programs and services.
  • Continuous improvement opportunities are identified and acted on (i.e. expand to acute care services).
  • Ensure coordination and integration with other AVANGRID Well-Being and benefit strategies and programs.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Occupational Health Clinic budget and financial results.
  • Monitor and report Occupational Health ROI and refine metrics and methods to so ensure value-add programs and services.
  • Manage external service providers.
  • Plan and manage expansion of Occupational Health Clinics to other AVANGRID sites.
  • Conduct external market analysis and competitive bench marketing.
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure integration and coordination in the design and delivery of employee health and well-being benefits to align with AVANGRID's business strategy and direction.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Assure confidentiality of personal health information and implement policies and procedures for maintaining confidentiality.
  • Work with health and well-being team to manage total worker health.
  • Ensuring OSHA compliant.
  • Use the electric medical record system.
  • Work with worker's compensation team to manage claims.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education & Experience Required :
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure (preferred)
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac
  • Life Support (ACLS)
  • 5+ years' experience working in either in an employee health clinics, infectious disease, or internal medical clinics
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Occupational Health or related clinical experience (preferred)
  • Union employee experience (preferred)
  • Employee Health and Well-being (preferred)
  • Environment Health & Safety (preferred)
  • Employee engagement strategies and tactics (preferred)
  • Successful Project or Operational Manager with 3+ years' experience managing small to mid-scale clinics
  • Knowledge of current literature applicable to occupational health
  • 3+years' experience with vendor management
  • Familiar with current issues, trends, and practices in employee well-being benefits
    Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated skills in presenting management reports and information in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills (preferred)
  • Awareness of legal requirements and health privacy legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing samples will be requested)
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced problem solving, analytical and decisions-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to operate across multiple corporate functions
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to influence others
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to work multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong computer experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Avangrid employees may be assigned a system emergency role and in the event of a system emergency, may be required to work outside of their regular schedule/job duties. This is applicable to employees that will work in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York within AVANGRD Network and Corporate functions.
