Description: Progressive Manufacturing Company ( Outside of Boston ) is Actively Looking For A solid EHS Manager:

Position- EHS Manager

Status- Direct Hire

Shift- Days But Must Be Comfortable Coming In From Time To Time On Off Shifts

Location- Littleton, MA

Salary- $85,000-$93,000

Experience- 5+ Years Experience Working In A Manufacturing Environment. Must Have a Passion for Safety and Environmental Health; Be Able To Lead Safety Meetings; Take Ownership of Safety

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations, watching for practices and processes that violate safety policies or create a dangerous situation, taking measures necessary to create a safe working environment
• Make recommendations to management, executives, and individual employees for ways to improve safety and efficiency
• Research safety policies that are mandated by state and federal government, as well as optional policies adopted by other businesses, analyzing whether they would be beneficial to implement in our business
• Assists in the coordination and implementation of training programs related to safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Acts as advisor to health and safety committee and management regarding projects, tasks, and operations
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BS Degree preferred, but not mandatory
• Must Be Hands On
• Minimum of 5 years of direct EHS experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
  
• Must have previous industrial manufacturing experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, both on a written and oral basis
  
• Must BE Open To Suggestions and Ready To Take Control
