Job Info


    • Lead the projects EH&S team
    • Maintain project Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
    • Assist the Safety Director to ensure that Company Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures are up to date on the project
    • Implement and oversee the Safety and Environmental Management programs conforming to ISO14001 and ISO 45001:2018
    • Ensure Project-wide compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies
    • Conduct daily project safety inspections
    • Conduct site safety orientation for all new JV employees and subcontractors
    • Conduct required safety training including but not limited to OSHA 10 and 30
    • Conduct compliance safety auditing
    • Participates in the hiring process and hiring decision for project EH&S employees
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 10 years Health & Safety experience/knowledge.
    • Highway construction and Environmental Management experience a must
    • Knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Polished and effective presenter and communicator, capable of interacting with senior level executives
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 4 year degree in Health & Safety field preferably and or CSP/CHST
    • Heavy civil engineering background a plus
    • OSHA 500 certified
