The Strategic Accounts Marketing Manager plans, organizes, and executes programs that create relevant two-way interactions with local customers to inform and influence their buying decisions and support their broader relationship with the organization, driving engagement, loyalty, retention, and growth. The manager has a good understanding of local market needs and the ability to leverage and efficiently adapt marketing initiatives. The manager executes a local marketing strategy focusing on maximum ROI and impact measurement.

The Strategic Accounts Marketing Manager will work closely with America's Marketing Team and Channel sales teams to execute campaigns and create and successfully implement marketing programs that deliver maximum impact through a combination of tailored, regional, and new market-specific deliverables.

The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding and speaking to the target market's needs through compelling solution "stories". In addition, he or she can combine those "soft skills" with strong critical thinking and qualitative analysis ability to scrutinize results, determine root causes, and make timely, educated recommendations for maximizing results.

The role will function under a matrix environment where influencing teams and individuals at different levels of the organization will be required (Sales Executives, Sales Managers, Services Managers, 3rd party agencies).

This position will support the entire Vertiv Technology and will work closely with local sales teams and service teams

The role will cultivate and foster relationships with local media, advertising, public relations and other 3rd party marketing agencies to develop programs, events and campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement marketing deliverables for NAM E-Commerce Accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Responsible for planning and executing many marketing deliverables - e.g., account intelligence gathering, demand creation, brand store.
  • Implement and Manage Etail Partner Scorecards
  • Improve Account Penetration and drive Opportunities for Cross-Selling/ Upselling
  • Orchestrate and lead ongoing account check-ins with account executives to ensure account goals, key contacts, and account plans remain on track and discuss upcoming account requirements and modifications.
  • Strategize on B2C positioning through our B2B Partners, leveraging the investments we have established, in support of revenue targets
  • Ensure leads generated by programs are appropriately assigned and handed off into the pre/post-event lead qualification process.
  • May participate in and contribute to the planning of, logistics, and direction of partner events, marketing/sales-related meetings, webinars, etc.
  • Experience in accurately managing and reporting on an allocated budget and a proven track record in operational excellence.
  • As needed, facilitate market research requests from functional businesses i.e. competitor research, market research covering technologies and trends, voice of the customer
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing analytics or business, or comparable marketing qualification/experience
  • 5+ years of previous Channel marketing experience, ideally in a named or strategic account model
  • 3+ years of reseller, distribution or IT Channel experience
  • Proven experience working successfully with sales teams
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI
  • Familiarity with Price Spider preferred
  • Account Based Marketing Experience preferred
