The Red Rock Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Adams and Associates employs more than 2,000 staff members across the United States. Each year we provide academic, vocational training, and placement services to approximately 9,000 young people from ages 16 to 24 primarily in a residential setting. Our academic and career technical training programs are accredited and lead to national industry-recognized credentials.

We are currently looking for a dependable and skilled Driver to become a member of our team at Red Rock Job Corps Center. The main duty of the Driver is to guarantee the secure and effective transportation of students, staff, and materials to different locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain Job Corps vehicles, including vans and buses, in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Transport students and staff to and from designated locations, ensuring a secure and punctual journey.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, emphasizing a commitment to the safety and well-being of passengers.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and trip logs.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Prefer previous experience working with youth.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid in-state driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
