Job Description

The Discovery Analyst will work with senior analysts, project managers and other technicians in supporting eDiscovery department operations.

Responsibilities include managing departmental data inventory; supporting Sr. Analysts in loading data into and producing data out of eDiscovery database platforms and supporting case teams in document review.

The successful candidate will have a Baccalaureate degree and 2+ years of experience in a technical role. Fluency with Windows operating systems and Office applications; exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are desired. Candidate should enjoy problem solving and have a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.

Candidates must have a familiarity with database functionality and text manipulation coupled with a willingness and ability to learn eDiscovery workflows and applications in the law firm context. A strong drive toward organization and the execution of correct, consistent procedures is essential. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of database structures and will require an understanding of how to ensure the integrity and defensibility of unstructured and structured data sets used for litigation.

Previous experience in an eDiscovery or litigation support role and familiarity with eDiscovery or litigation support software is preferred but not required.
