Job Description

The Director of Sales - OEM will be responsible for building and leading an outside and inside sales team to achieve the organization's sales growth and customer satisfaction objectives. The Director of Sales will collaborate and coordinate the customer centric activity across the broader CRH Infrastructure Products group. This position reports to the Commercial Vice President for the Enclosures business.

The Director of Sales is a high energy self-starter who is driven to succeed, can energize others to achieve team success, has effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization, and is effective at executing across the sales opportunity lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills focused primarily on Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) who utilize our products in their offering for use in the water, electric communications, and transportation market segments.

Position Functions and Tasks

The Director of Sales - OEM will have responsibility for generating sales in the US across all markets and channels for the metal fabrication product offering for Oldcastle Infrastructure's Enclosures business.

Duties include

  • Generate profitable sales of metal fabrication products in the US.
  • Develop sales plans and strategies for long term business growth while achieving the company's near term sales and price realization goals.
  • Hire, lead, coach and develop a team of Outside and Inside Sales to provide market coverage, customer intimacy, and achieve revenue and price results.
  • Lead and execute the sales process from prospecting through proposal, order and post order activities to drive desired business results.
  • Manage key customer relationships and lead the development and closing of all strategic customer opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs and expectations to develop our value proposition.
  • Assimilate and communicate market segment research and competitor analysis.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years professional experience, with 5+ years in sales management role.
  • Experience in selling to OEMs and with infrastructure products across multiple channels and end markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and communications skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and managing multiple projects.
  • Travel is expected to be ~50%
