We are an established Architectural & Construction company that have designed & built or remodeled 1,800+ financial facilities over the last 30 years. Our purpose is to provide state-of-the-art retail facilities that help clients improve their return on investment. We're seeking a Director of Pre-Construction & Estimating who will be responsible for participation and preparation of cost estimates for client contracts, subcontractor bid packages for various projects and infrastructure.
What You Will Be Doing - In charge of proposing and providing budget estimates, design cost estimates, design-development cost estimates, and Cost Plus and/or Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), inclusive of value engineering.
- Primary communicator between sales, clients, architects, and engineers to review project drawings and specifications
- Principal liaison between architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to organize pre-construction efforts for the project.
- Responsible for overseeing the pre-construction phases and products such as initial schedule including phasing, document review from the pre-concept design stage through to the 100% construction document stage, etc.
- Determine final propositions of means and methods of construction, cost savings, or potential problems on the project.
