Colgate University, a NCAA DI member of the Patriot League and ECAC Hockey, invites applicants for the Director of Compliance position within its Athletics Department. This position reports to the Associate Athletics Director, Compliance and Student-Athlete Services and is expected to adhere to all NCAA, Patriot League, ECAC Hockey and Colgate University rules and regulations. The successful candidate shall further the athletics department's vision of being an inclusive community of competitive excellence.
Accountabilities:Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Compliance Knowledge and Expertise
Description:Demonstrated knowledge and experience in NCAA Division I athletics legislation and compliance. A proven track record of maintaining personal and department wide compliance for an NCAA collegiate athletics department. Demonstrated knowledge of the issues and legislation facing collegiate athletics. Proven experience with maintaining department compliance manuals, rules interpretation and education, student eligibility, extra benefits, issues in financial aid, violation investigation and reporting and knowledge of required paperwork/forms to be completed on an on-going basis.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree is required.
Certifications:A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy is required.
