DIRECTOR OF CLIENT RELATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the firm is mandatory;
  • Excellent organization skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with high degree of accuracy;
  • Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects and requests;
  • Strong time management skills and sense of urgency to requests, along with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to anticipate problems, find solutions, and prioritize work accordingly;
  • Strong editing, proofreading skills are a plus, but not required;
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client, firm, and personnel information;
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Required Computer Skills/Knowledge:

  • Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;

Not Require, but a Plus:

  • WordPress, Notion (online project management tool), Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Organize and execute the process necessary to get CE and CLE accreditation for courses the firm develops;
  • Event tracking and planning;
  • Research and suggest innovative and unique promotional products for the firm's use at tradeshows;
  • Research and suggest items that would make good client gifts;
  • Collection of and cataloging of all case wins;
  • Perform onboarding tasks for new attorneys (i.e. Preparing first draft of biographies; create and distribute press release announcement and creation of attorney's vCard)
  • Assist in data collection for preparing pitch materials;
  • Business trip follow-up and collection of contact information for all new connections;
  • Process and track sponsorship requests & deliverables;
  • Update multiple cloud-based spreadsheets/databases with a variety of data/resources tracked and saved by our marketing department;
  • Update online directories in which the firm is listed;
  • Research prospective clients, professional organizations, and other topics as assigned;
  • Organize the printing, distributing and (when needed) shipping of firm brochures, business cards, and other collateral for in-person client pitches, events and other business opportunities;
  • Organizing and execute the shipment of 200+ holiday gifts;

* Follow-up with all parties involved in various marketing efforts until the information/resources needed are obtained to complete an assignment. Ensuring that communications remain tactful and polite and never assuming the ball is not in your court
