The Director role will report to the Vice President Financial Systems and manage a team located at our headquarters at Grapevine, TX.

Success in this role will depend on your ability to

Drive visibility on process improvement opportunities that facilitate the success of a world class accounting and finance organization.

Understand and drive development and ongoing maintenance of end-to-end process and systems documentation.

Facilitate re-engineering of existing processes to improve visibility, efficiency, control, and cross-functional integration.

Assess and obtain relevant stakeholder buy in on the impact of proposed process/systems changes on the internal control and SOX key control environments.

Your Impact:

Develop and implement strategies to increase operating effectiveness through inclusion of relevant business processes into the Accounting and Finance operating model by researching, identifying, and benchmarking best practices, enabling innovation, fostering collaboration, and effectively leading change through data-driven process improvement methodologies.

Develop and maintain documentation of key business processes through process mapping and modeling for current and future states with visibility to the current control environment and the impact of proposed changes.

Use statistical analysis, process measurement and industry benchmarking methods to develop supporting information to improve adoption of recommendations.

Drive gap analysis and project requirements for improved use of transaction systems and related data migration.

Develop short and long-term plans with anticipated deliverables, outcomes, and required resources to sustain the transformations.

Develop detailed work plans, direct project teams, deliver status, meet deadlines, manage to budget, meet or exceed quality standards.

Understand and guide upstream/downstream impact of changes, cause and effect, contingencies, gating, risk and risk mitigation strategies, etc.

Manage transitions of multiple processes including transition management, knowledge transfer, process re-engineering.

Develop key performance metrics and benchmarks across the business cycles to track progress and improvements in areas of time and efficiency.

Partner cross-functionally with other teams and departments on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Lead the performance management, development, and education of team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required

A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive Accounting or financial system implementation and support or related experience with at least five (5) years of supervisory/management experience for a multi-location, geographically dispersed organization, and ERP implementation is required.

Preferred

Public accounting or consulting experience is preferred.

Consumer Product, Retail or Technology industry experience.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting concepts.

Strong knowledge in data management and workflow.

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience with ERP cloud financial and EPM modules.

Demonstrated experience with process improvement and re-engineering.

Demonstrated business acumen with a strong understanding of financial controls and financial statements.

Proven track record as an organizational change agent.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to direct and create rapport and push back when needed.

Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly develop working relationships across teams and communicate both up and down the corporate hierarchy.
